Bought a star - now what???

Bought a star - now what???

Postby mc014 » Sat Aug 30, 2008 7:45 am

I'm being thick, I know .......but I browsed most of the site before I bought my star (ili) and was expecting it to appear as a "big star" in the inhabited sky. Nothing obvious told me otherwise and I think the instructions ought to make things clearer.
The 'inhabited sky' is covered with "big stars" belonging to people with pop up text, photos etc. presumably linked to their 'inhabited page' mentioned in the adopt a star blurb. I naturally, assume I can personalize mine with a picture and some words. Homer Simpson seems to have got his head round this little lot but I am at a loss as to where my 'inhabited page' is, how to access it , how to link it with my star and how I get my star looking like other peoples. What do I do next next? Can sombody explain what's going on? Simply! (A mere note that "This star has been adopted" is all that's happened so far and to be frank - if that's it, then it's not worth it)
Thanks, in anticipation of a public humiliation!
Chich.
My foot hurts.

I have to admit it's quite annoying when 3 of those are in your face. Kinda hard to aim when your screen is full of blinking red dots. And in a dark map like that, you're a pretty easy target for snipers when your head is covered with those
