SKY-MAP.ORG updated the engine to show images from newest data release (DR6) of SDSS. See more details on DR6 here: http://www.sdss.org/dr6/index.html
For SKY-MAP it's extra few hundred degrees of survey images coverage, but of cource SDSS is much bigger than just pretty images.
